Requesting a Showcase - Guidelines: So you want to have an EnviroSEA showcase? Great! It’s easy to do. Simply, register on the site and complete the showcase submission form. We will review the submission and get back you straight away. _______________________ Alternatively, just follow these steps: Step 1: Email us! We want to know who you are, what your South East Asian link is, what your experience is in the realm of photography (professional or talented amateur) and what your main focus and strengths are (editorial, landscapes, commercial, stock, etc.). Already have a website with a portfolio? Include the URL so we can go check it out. Don't have a website, no problem - just send us 8 to 18 of your preferred shots as low-resolution jpegs. The images should be no bigger than 700 pixels widest side at 72dpi, jpegs. Step 2: If we like what we see and feel your images portray south east asia as per our aims, we’ll request you to submit: a) Showcase files to our specifications c) a small bio for a showcase page on our site d) your website and email details if available Step 3: We will upload the photographers showcase page to the site and start your exposure! _______________________ Showcase frequently asked questions Does a showcase cost me anything? No, nothing at all. our aims are to increase exposure of photographers and photographs of South East Asia. If I have a showcase do I have to submit the images to your stock gallery? No, the two are separate services we off you. You can have a showcase without opting into to the stock sales system and you have stock sales without opting for a showcase. It's your choice. Will my showcase be only portrait or landscape shots? We can format anything you send us, portrait, landscape, square or a mixture of styles. Can I include a link to my own website in my details? Of course, the showcase is about creating exposure for you so we see adding your own site as advantageous. What if I don't have a website? No problem, we will not show this information in the details panel if you don't have a site. Why do you spell out my email address with "at" rather than use the "@" symbol? That's to prevent automatic web robots picking up your email address from the web and adding you to junk email lists. |
