Pricing images - Guidelines: If you use our stock sales service for selling a) prints b) Royalty Free Images or c) Rights Managed Images you will have to let us know the following: For each image do you wish to offer prints? Is the image being offered as download file? If so is the license type RF or RM? If you are unsure about RF and RM licenses we recommend you read up on them as its very important you understand what are the requirements to use an RF license. You can ask questions in the forum if you are confused. You will also need to set your prices, as we allow the photographer to set their own prices. You can set your prices by image or by profile. A profile is a standard set of prices applied to all your images. Print Pricing Prints are based on size, the cost is the cost to the buyer, not including shipping. The buyer will pay shipping costs separately. A sample price profile for a 35 mm proportioned file would be: 4 x 6 = USD$19.99 8 x 12 = USD$69.99 12 x 18 = USD$89.99 16 x 24 = USD$109.99 20 x 30 = USD$149.99 Royalty Free (RF) Pricing RF files are sold based on size and quality. The cost is the cost to the buyer, for instant electronic delivery. A sample price profile for a RF file would be: Web (500 pixels) = USD$69 Small (1500 pixels) = USD$129 Medium (2500 pixels) = USD$199 Original size = USD$289 Rights Managed (RM) Pricing Rights-Managed profiles are powered by fotoQuote®, the industry-standard price guide for stock and assignment photography. We recommend that you use the industry standard but you can choose a profile that adds or reduces a percentage to/from the standard i.e. plus 20%, minus 10%, etc. The choice is yours. |
