What is EnviroSEA?
EnviroSEA is a Photographer's Collective that exists to promote the work and images of photographers in Thailand and South East Asia. EnviroSEA was the idea of 3 Thailand based photographers and exists to promote the work and images of photographers in Thailand and South East Asia. That being photographers who live/work in South East Asia or specialize in Thai or S.E.A issues. Our aim is to showcase both established and up and coming photographers in the region and use the EnviroSEA website to provide them much needed media access and exposure. What are the countries of South East Asia? Cambodia Laos Myanmar Thailand Vietnam Brunei East Timor Indonesia Malaysia Philippines Singapore The Andaman and Nicobar Islands Remember, you don't have to be a national of these countries but have a body of work than represents them. We also offer photographers the option to utilize our online sales system for RM stock, RF stock and prints. We are NOT an agency, we are a collective and therefore our sales offerings are tailored to the photographer - the photographer chooses: 1) If they want to use our sales system - its optional 2) What images they wish to place in the system 3) What licensing options they want per image, RF or RM 4) If they want to offer images as prints 5) The price they wish to receive (yes, the photographer sets their own price!) For stock and print sales EnviroSEA administers and maintains the system, and quality control and applies 30% overhead to sales to cover the system, QC and transaction costs. As a collective our aim is not to make a profit so 70% of the GROSS stock income is passed directly to the photographer immediately. The 30% is collected to pay costs and at the end of the year any funds left over from the 30% are prorated amongst all the contributing photographers as a percentage of total image sales. |
About Us
EnviroSEA presents images of Thailand and her rich and diverse fauna and flora captured by photographer Paul Thompson. All the images on this site are available as prints or by commercial licensing.
All proceeds from prints and licenses are used to provide funding to non-profit organizations and researchers working on the protection and conservation of Thailand wildlife and forests. Helping to sustain Thailand's rich but threatened bio-diversity.
2011 Poster Collection
As part of our support to conservation, each year we specifically photograph a particular geographical area in order to produce awareness posters. In 2011 we spent a lot of time in the Dong Phaya Yen Complex to produce a year end poster set for donation to the National Park's Visitor Centre. 100% of Income Donated
EnviroSEA is a sustainable photography website. It donates 100% of all income it generates to support and promote wildlife and habitat conservation projects and issues in Thailand. Yes that is correct, 100% of income (not just profit).

Promoting Conservation
At EnviroSEA our aim is Supporting Conservation in Thailand. We are also partnered with our sister site, Wildlife Thailand, that is dedicated to Promoting Conservation in Thailand. Wildlife Thailand is a community site, blog and forum that shares a wealth of up-to-date information, photographs, routes and maps, concerning Thailand's National Parks and Wildlife.
